At least, I think that’s what it is called. This is a dessert that you get all over south-east Asia. It’s a selection of ‘bits’ made out of tapioca and agar agar. The liquid is usually something coconut milky and you add ice to it to make a lovely, refreshing dessert. This was a gift from one of my student’s mother who knows I like to cook and make desserts. This one had lots of water chestnuts in and ‘fake’ pomegranate seeds.
