Chilli with Bulghur Wheat


This recipe was easy to do. I found bulgur wheat in Villa and just threw all the ingredients in and cooked it for 45 minutes. Bulgur wheat is a fantastic grain, which I should be using more of. I love the different shades of red. The recipe came from 1000 Vegan Recipes. The sour cream was from 30 Minute Vegan. It was half a cup of macadamia nuts, lemon juice, water and salt, blended up in the Vitamix. It was a great sour cream alternative as it provides that salty sour, rich creamy taste that we are looking for when we eat spicy chilli dishes. Seb loved it. He loves these kinds of dishes…
