What a Lovely Sunday!

Today, in Bangkok, it was about 27 degrees. This never happens, or rarely happens. We took advantage of this unusual weather and spent most of the day walking around.

We started at Chuvit Park where we said hi to Hatchback Kitty. Hatchback is the cutest little cat that lives in the park at the entrance of our Soi. She was a kitten when we moved here, and she has now grown up to be a lovely little friendly puss cat. She is much-loved, with lots of friends who come to feed her, including us. A few months ago, we were going to get her neutered but someone beat us to it! I have no idea who did it, but it’s good they did. Bangkok doesn’t need any more cats who aren’t looked after. I come and see her most days when the park is open. When it’s not, she has a lovely time sitting in the sun not being disturbed by anyone!

We explored some sois we haven’t been to before and had lunch at Saras, a fast food Indian restaurant in Soi 20. Gujarati Thali, Puris and Dal!

Then we headed to Ozono, a pet little park and mall of shops where pets can have haircuts, spas and can enter the shops and restaurants. There’s also a place for cat boarding (like) and a place to buy pedigree cats (don’t like)

We went to the movies (Dinner with Smucks) and headed home.

I cooked Crispy Tofu with a Sizzling Caper Sauce and Southwestern Quinoa Salad with Pinto Beans for dinner. It was from 1000 Vegan Recipes. I was also delicious. The tofu was pressed for several hours and then dipped in cornflour and then fried. It had a wonderful texture.
